Marduk unveil Wormwood cover.
Swedish black metallers MARDUK will release their eleventh album, Wormwood, before the end of the year via Regain Records. The CD was recorded at Endarker Studios in Norrköping, Sweden with engineer/producer Magnus Devo Andersson. The album’s release will be followed by a world tour, dubbed “Funeral Nation 2009/2010″, which will kick off in Europe.
MARDUK’s last CD, “Rom 5:12″, was released in North America in May 2007 via Regain/Koch.
MARDUK was formed by guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson with the goal of becoming the “most blasphemous band in the world.” The group’s musical style started out as straight-forward, death metal-influenced black metal, but as the years went by progressed into a fast and intense form of black metal.

RevCo’s touring line-up for this trek includes: Josh Bradford (Stayte, Simple Shelter), Sin Quirin (Ministry), Clayton Worbeck (Stayte, Simple Shelter), Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong, John5) and Stevie Banch (Spyderbaby). Young deathcore rippers SUICIDE SILENCE recently completed a new video for the new track, “Wake Up,” from their sophomore album No Time To Bleed. The video, which was shot by producer David Brodsky (Black Dahlia Murder, GWAR), is a disturbing look into the inner psyche while embracing the effect of hallucinogens.
Vocalist Mitch Lucker comments: “We shot a new video for the track ‘Wake Up’ with the mighty David Brodsky and it was a pleasure to work with him again. We feel he perfectly nailed the concept we envisioned for this clip and we can’t wait for you all to see it.”

British thrashers EVILE have released a brand new track, called “Infected Nation”, which is available now for streaming and download.
The new track, which is the first song off the band’s highly anticipated upcoming new album, INFECTED NATIONS – due on September 21st in Europe and September 22nd in the USA – is available for streaming at EVILE’s official MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/evileuk
EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:
“Finally, we can show you a track off the upcoming album Infected Nations, funnily enough the first track being ‘Infected Nation’. It’s been very hard to pick out just ONE track to initially show the world, as there is such diversity on this album and I wanted to showcase the different direction we’re going in. I think ‘Infected Nation’ is a good place to start in showing you, as it still has the pure thrash feel to it but with an injection of our new path musically.”
