For the final installment in our coverage of the October 8, 2008, Watain, Withered, Krallice show at the Knitting Factory, we’re pleased to present to you four brutal songs from Seattle black metal group Book of Black Earth.
Book of Black Earth were touring behind their 2008 release, Horoskopus (Prosthetic Records).
Below, check out the crew as they play “2160” into “May Your God Deny You” and “Death of the Sun,” “Total Control” and “Clamor Beneath.”

There is NOTHING black or metal about salon dreads or your mom buying you a 100 piece drum kit. Seattle needs a tsunami to wash all these tough girls away.
first off, seattle is 3 hours away from the actual ocean smart guy, so a tsunami wouldnt wash us tough girls way, second do you work in a salon, brutal metal guy? cause what would make you come to the conclusion that those are salon dreds, third, that is a 6 piece kit, one snare, three rack, one floor and a kick, its pretty simple math, but im sure you are too brutal to go to school and learn about that stuff, cymbols arent factored into the drum kit size, just the shells, but im sure during your busy time not attending school you didnt learn about music either, and i have a job, my paychecks payed for my kit, one of these days when you get a little older and move out of your parents house you will learn whats its like to work and make your own living…
that said, please commence shit talking and possibly threats of online violence about how you would kick my ass, cause that always comes off as intelligent and intimidating and is usually taken seriously from the comfort of your bunk bed in your surburban house from behind a keyborad of a computer (that your mom probably bought for you)
Where are the fucking blastbeats?
