Notes From the Underground: FLAMING TUSK

Posted in News

Young NYC heavies Flaming Tusk deliver some loud, abrasive, hard-to-classify metal on their their debut EP Abigail. It’s really best that you just check this stuff out for yourself, but to quote the band: “Flaming Tusk celebrates metal’s true place in the order of things, swimming amongst the icy rivers of chaotic truth that run through human existence.”

Like I said, these dudes are heavy.

For a free download of Abigail go to http://music.flamingtusk.com/album/abigail.

Also, if you’re in the tri-state area on April 6, check out Flaming Tusk’s live show when they play Lit Lounge as part of the Precious Metal series.

When The Witches Tit comes to Brooklyn in May, Flaming Tusk will be supporting them at The Charleston. May 26! Hella sludge from Arkansas.

‘Abigail’? What the fuck are they thinking? Have they not heard of King Diamond?

I’d strongly suggest that they change the album name.

No. Flaming Tusk has NEVER heard of King Diamond. Never.
